My husband and I have decided to switch after school programs for our children. The reason for this is because it seems to be too crowded when we go there to pick up our children at night. We do not feel as if they are getting the attention that they deserve in order to stay busy with something educational. When they first began going there, I did not worry a lot because they were only 2 of 20 children. The local paper did a cover story on the program and the enrollment jumped exponentially. More instructors were hired, but I just do not think the environment is conducive to keeping my kids on track. Like most kids their age, they tend be easily distracted. I'll look into the program offered by the high school.
