Over the past year, I have met with several different preschool programs. I have a son who has mild autism. Therefore, we have a hard time finding a preschool that can be successful in teaching him. I am hoping that we will find the perfect school that has teachers who are well-qualified in helping us with our son. There is no possible way for my husband and I to be able to teach him the things that he needs to know. I am afraid that a special school would be too far away, so our search is going to have to be thorough. While he does have a case manager, I will certainly enlist her assistance in the search, but I would really like to be the front-runner in this situation.
